About Caketails
Caketails is owned and operated by me, Carol Samei. I am a self taught baker, creating custom, themed desserts, cookies & cakes in the Houston area.
I have always had a passion for being in the kitchen but baking is my favorite. I believe that you should ALWAYS save room for dessert and bringing someone something homemade has always been the best way I know how to make them feel special.
I was born and raised in New Orleans, and that's where my love of food began. Every family gathering or event, dreaming up menus and what to bring was the highlight. I have now been in Houston for 17 years and met my husband here and we are raising our daughter and my son, along with our troop of dogs & one cat. With their unwavering, encouragement and support, I decided to bring my dream of baking & sharing with others to life.
We know life gets busy & events can be very time consuming and involved. Our mission here at Caketails, is to help lighten your plate & make those events in your life, a little bit more special and memorable with our curated, themed desserts.
